As the name suggests, the Chakra originates from Indian cultural heritage. The word “Chakra” means “wheel”, and this form has been used for thousands of years by Shiva Sadhus to reach trance states

This is the ultimate finale prop, capable of creating an enormous and spectacular fire show. However, it is extremely dangerous. When using the Chakra, all fire safety measures must be followed strictly. A dedicated and experienced fire safety spotter is mandatory at all times

Although the basic technique resembles staff spinning, even the smallest mistake can result in severe injury. When spinning stops, burning Kevlar elements can fall onto the body, causing serious burns

Construction

The Chakra is made from a 20 mm × 2 mm aluminum tube, bent into a circle with a diameter of 60 cm (23.62 inches)
The handle consists of a duraluminum rod, securely fastened with screws and finished with a standard comfortable grip

MOON CHAKRA

The “rays” are invisible and consist of chains attached to the aluminum ring. Only the outer ring is wrapped in Kevlar and burns, creating a more static visual effect in which the outer ring appears relatively still while spinning

Safety and Usage Guidelines

Fueling:
Lay the Chakra flat on the ground and apply fuel using a spray bottle for maximum control

Ignition:
Zippo lighter fluid may be used to make ignition easier

Spinning:
Once the Chakra is burning, you must keep spinning continuously — NEVER STOP

Changing the direction of rotation is impossible and can be life-threatening

Start spinning parallel to the ground and gradually change planes

Never place burning wicks on the ground; this will severely damage the Kevlar

Clothing:
Fire-resistant protection for the head and arms is strongly recommended

Extinguishing:
The flames must burn out naturally while you continue spinning.
There is no safe way to stop earlier. Ensure you have sufficient endurance

Practice spinning for at least 5 minutes without fire, so you have enough strength during the real performance

Precautions

This is an extremely dangerous fire prop. Practice extensively without fire before igniting it. Always ensure a well-trained fire safety spotter is present and focused on you at all times
