We are pleased about your interest in our online store. The protection of your privacy is of great importance to us. Below, we provide you with detailed information about the handling of your data.

  1. Access Data and Hosting

You can visit our websites without providing personal information. Each time you access a website, the web server automatically stores a so-called server log file, which includes, for example, the name of the requested file, your IP address, the date and time of the request, the amount of data transferred, and the requesting provider (access data), and documents the access.

These access data are used solely to ensure the trouble-free operation of the site and to improve our offering. This is done in accordance with Art. 6, para. 1, sentence 1 lit. f GDPR to safeguard our predominantly legitimate interests in the proper presentation of our offering. All access data is deleted no later than seven days after the end of your visit to the site.

Hosting Services by a Third Party

Within the scope of data processing on our behalf, a third party provides hosting and website display services. All data collected during the use of this website or in designated forms in the online store as described below will be processed on its servers. Processing on other servers will only take place within the framework outlined here.

This service provider is located within a country of the European Union or the European Economic Area.

  1. Data Collection and Use for Contract Processing, Contact, and Opening a Customer Account

We collect personal data when you voluntarily provide it to us in the context of your order or when contacting us (e.g., via the contact form or email). Mandatory fields are marked as such because, in these cases, we require the data for contract processing or to fulfill your request, and you cannot submit the order or contact without providing this information. The respective input forms indicate which data is collected. We use the data provided to us in accordance with Art. 6, para. 1, sentence 1 lit. b GDPR for the processing of the contract and handling your requests.

To the extent that you have given your consent pursuant to Art. 6, para. 1, sentence 1 lit. a GDPR by choosing to open a customer account, we use your data for the purpose of opening the customer account.

After complete processing of the contract or deletion of your customer account, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after the expiration of tax and commercial retention periods, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use your data for other purposes that are legally permitted and about which we inform you in this statement. Deleting your customer account is possible at any time and can be done either by sending a message to the contact option described below or via a designated function in the customer account.

  1. Data Transfer

For the performance of the contract pursuant to Art. 6, para. 1, sentence 1 lit. b GDPR, we transmit your data to the delivery company responsible for the shipment, to the extent necessary for the delivery of the ordered goods. Depending on the payment service provider you choose in the order process, we may transfer the collected payment data to the credit institution responsible for the payment and, if necessary, to payment service providers engaged by us or to the selected payment service. In some cases, the selected payment service providers collect this data themselves, provided that you create an account with them. In this case, you must log in to the payment service provider during the order process using your access data. In this case, the privacy policy of the respective payment service provider applies.

For order and contract processing, we also use an external inventory management system. The data transfer or processing that takes place in this context is based on data processing on behalf of the client.

Data Transfer to Shipping Service Providers

If you have expressly consented to this in accordance with Art. 6, para. 1, sentence 1 lit. a GDPR, we will pass on your email address to the selected shipping service provider, so that they can contact you before delivery for notification or coordination of the delivery.

The consent can be revoked at any time by sending a message to the contact option described below or directly to the shipping service provider at the address below:

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by sending a message to the contact option described below or via a link provided for this purpose in the newsletter. Upon unsubscribing, we will delete your email address, unless you have expressly consented to the further use of your data, or we reserve the right to continue using your data, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this statement.

Email Advertising without Newsletter Registration and Your Right to Object

If we receive your email address in connection with the sale of a product or service and you have not opted out, we reserve the right to regularly send you offers for similar products, such as those already purchased, from our range by email based on § 7, para. 3 UWG. This serves to protect our predominant legitimate interests in personalized advertising, which outweigh our interests within the scope of a balancing of interests pursuant to Art. 6, para. 1, sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.

You can object to this advertising at any time by sending a message to the contact option described below or via a link provided for this purpose in the advertising email, without incurring any costs beyond the basic rates.

  1. Cookies and Web Analysis

To make your visit to our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, to display suitable products, or for market research, we use so-called cookies on various pages. This is to protect our predominantly legitimate interests in an optimized presentation of our offer in accordance with Art. 6, para. 1, sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. Cookies are small text files that are automatically stored on your end device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted after the end of the browser session, i.e., after closing your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your end device and enable us or our partner companies to recognize your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies). You can determine the duration of storage in the cookie settings of your web browser yourself. You can set your browser so that you are informed about the placement of cookies and can decide individually whether to accept them or to exclude the acceptance of cookies in certain cases or in general. Each browser differs in the way it manages the cookie settings. This is described in the help menu of each browser, which explains how you can change your cookie settings. Use of Google (Universal) Analytics for Web Analysis

If you have given your consent in accordance with Art. 6, para. 1, sentence 1 lit. a GDPR, we use Google (Universal) Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (www.google.nl), for the purpose of tailoring our website to meet your needs. Google (Universal) Analytics uses methods that enable an analysis of your use of the website, such as cookies. The automatically collected information about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. By activating IP anonymization on this website, the IP address is shortened before transmission within the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. After the end of the use of Google Analytics by us, the data collected in connection with this use will be deleted.

Google LLC is based in the USA and is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. An up-to-date certificate can be viewed here. Based on this agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter has established an adequate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield.

You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=nl. This will prevent the registration of your data by Google Analytics for the future when you visit our website. For the purposes of the agreement on order data that we, as the website operator, have concluded with Google, Google will use the collected data to analyze the use of the website and, if necessary, the IP addresses of visitors.

  1. Google reCAPTCHA

To ensure the security of data when submitting forms, we use the "Google reCAPTCHA" service from Google LLC (www.google.nl). By using this service, it can be determined whether the respective contact form is filled out by a person or by automated processing of the data. If you agree to the processing of your data, Art. 6, para. 1, sentence 1 lit. a GDPR is the legal basis for the processing. It is in our interest to protect our online presence against unauthorized automated reading and misuse.

The service includes the transmission of the IP address and, if necessary, further data required by Google for the provision of the service. For this purpose, the IP address processed by your browser is merged by Google with other data if needed. However, Google does not integrate this data into other Google data. We have entered into a data processing agreement with Google as the provider.
