The Gora Portable Contact Fire Staff is the ultimate collapsible contact staff and one of the most popular models on the market. It combines exceptional performance with convenient transport and storage

The staff is made from “Space Tech” aluminium alloy 7075 (22 x 1.5 mm tube), which has the same tensile strength as steel while remaining light and flexible like aluminium. This ensures the staff will never bend or break. Thanks to the tensioned rubber connectors, the collapsible staff stays perfectly straight and stable, with no wobbling or looseness

A proper contact staff must swing smoothly, which is only possible if the ends are heavy and the centre is light – exactly the design of this staff

The handle is covered with 3.2 mm SuperGrip©. Its soft, spongy underlayer and tacky, dotted surface provide the best grip possible, even when sweating. It is also suitable for performers with sensitive skin or allergies. The balance point of the staff is marked for precise control

The staff is equipped with silicone protectors near the fire heads. These protect you from burns if the heated metal accidentally touches your skin. The black silicone parts offer the highest heat resistance

Optional: Flowers (weighting rubber discs) can be added to slightly slow down the roll of the staff and provide additional weight for smoother spinning. They are easy to remove or reattach

The fire heads are fitted with 10 cm Kevlar wicks, designed for long-lasting burns
