The Play Aerial Silk is a professional aerial fabric designed for aerial acrobatics. Made from 100% polyester, it combines a soft, pleasant feel with minimal lengthwise stretch for excellent control during climbs, drops, slides and other aerial techniques.

The fabric is suitable for both experienced aerial artists and beginners. A safety certificate is included, as well as a practical storage bag.

Soft Fabric with Minimal Stretch

The Play Aerial Silk has minimal stretch in the lengthwise direction, providing a stable and controlled feel during movement, sliding and drops.

The fabric is soft and pleasant to touch, making it comfortable during extended training sessions and various aerial techniques.

The Play Aerial Silk is available in lengths from 6 to 18 metres, making it suitable for different rig heights and training environments.

Choosing the Right Length

The correct length depends on the height of your rig or ceiling. The knot at the top uses approximately 0.5 metres of fabric. You also need additional fabric on the floor for wraps and movements.

As a guideline:

• Rig height × 2 + 2 metres = recommended length
• For example:
• 4 metres rig height × 2 + 2 metres = 10 metres of Aerial Silk
• Choose the nearest available length that provides sufficient fabric for your intended use.

A special aerial acrobatics hook is recommended for suspending the fabric.

The hook is not included.

Always use suitable suspension equipment and an appropriate anchor point designed for aerial acrobatics.

The Play Aerial Silk is designed, manufactured and certified in Italy by PLAY S.r.l. according to Directive 2001/95/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council and applicable European product safety legislation, including UNI EN 913:2019.

The product should only be used by trained and competent persons, or under the direct supervision of someone who is trained and competent. Proper instruction is required before using the equipment. Aerial acrobatics is inherently dangerous, and incorrect selection, installation, use or maintenance can result in serious injury or death.

The equipment must only be used according to the manufacturer's instructions and must not be modified. Before every use, inspect the fabric and equipment for signs of wear, damage or other defects.

A suitable approved safety mat must be placed underneath the working area to reduce the risk of injury in the event of a fall.

Care and Maintenance

Textile and plastic components:

• Rinse with clean water and neutral soap
• Maximum washing temperature: 30 °C
• Allow to dry naturally, away from direct heat

Metal components:

• Rinse with clean water
• Dry thoroughly afterwards

Always keep the product below 80 °C to avoid affecting its performance.

If the product comes into contact with chemical reagents, solvents or fuels that may affect its performance, discontinue use.

Store the Aerial Silk unpacked in a cool, dry and dark place, away from:

• Heat sources
• High humidity
• Sharp edges
• Corrosive substances
• Other potential sources of damage

The user is responsible for understanding the correct and safe use of the equipment and for using it only for its intended purpose. Users should also be familiar with appropriate rescue techniques before using the equipment in case an emergency occurs.

3-Year Warranty

The Play Aerial Silk is covered by a 3-year warranty against material and manufacturing defects from the date of purchase.

The warranty does not cover, among other things, normal wear and tear, modifications or alterations to the product.
